BRYDGES ENGAGE
The community-focused activities of Brydges Engage emphasize youth engagement with missions, philanthropic projects, civil and social engagement, and service to others. The programs and activities of BRYDGES Engage aim to create change agents with a sense of civic responsibility, philanthropy, vibrancy, and commitment within the youth population.
Brydge2MENtorship
This is a very specialized mentorship program that throws the highlight on the mentorship for the young men in the church and the communities.
Recreational Activities
The Recreational Sport Connections promotes health and fitness engagements among the youths within our community and awards consistency in performance and commitment to fitness programs.
Youth Missions/Local Community Projects
These activities focus the youths to work together as a team to address at least one need within the community and make the effort to meet that need. We envision that our youths will partner with organization as volunteers in services to the disabled, elderly, low-income families, shelters for the homeless, etc.

Special thanks to our partner churches for their commitment to impacting the community!

On May 3, 2025, the youth ministry of Shiloh Church of God 7th Day, Shiloh Young People Association (SYPA), went into the Hyattsville community and distributed forty-two care packages and ten $10.00 gift cards. A total of $200.00 was allocated for the care packages, and $100.00 was used for the gift cards. Youth between the ages of three and eighteen participated and were fully engaged in the packaging and distribution process. In the giving process we were able to pray for those who agreed to be prayed for. Members of the community were amazed by the love shown through giving and encouraged the youth to continue on this path. SYPA was truly blessed by the experience.

On Sunday, June 29, 2025, the Youth Ministry of Brooklyn Community Church of God Seventh Day hosted an impactful community outreach event aimed at serving and uplifting those in need. As part of their mission to live out the teachings of Christ through service, the youth prepared and distributed hot meals accompanied by refreshing juices and water. In addition to the meals, they also handed out gently used clothing to individuals and families experiencing hardship. The event was not only a time of physical nourishment but also spiritual enrichment. The youth extended prayers and offered words of encouragement and spiritual counsel to those who needed it. Members of the missionary team worked alongside our young people as they sought to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. It was a great and rewarding time for the youths as they experienced the joy and fulfillment in doing service unto God.

Beulah's Community Engagement Day was inspired by the Dare-2- Share Evangelism virtual week camp that challenged them to share gospel to other youths in their communities.
